Wynn-with Rusks

 

Ingredients

 

750     g          Cake Flour

250     g          Margarine

375     g          Sugar

1                     Egg

125     ml       Wynn-with Full Cream Milk

250     ml       Wynn-with Amasi

 

 

 

Method

 

1.        Preheat oven to 180°C

2.        Rub flour and margarine until it resembles bread crumbs

3.        Add sugar and continue mixing

4.        Add I beaten egg, milk and Amasi, mix until a stiff dough forms

5.        Add optional ingredients

6.        Press into large baking pans

7.        Bake for 45 min – 1 hour.

8.        Cut into rusk sizes immediately

9.        Cool, then place individual rusks on trays and dry overnight in oven at 60 °C

 

 

 

Ideas:

 

You can add the following optional

·        ¼         cup     Sunflower seeds

·        ¼         cup     Poppy seeds

·        1         cup     Bran flakes

·        ½         cup     Raisins
